Meet the Facilitator

Keith Monson brings more than 35 years of banking, compliance, and risk management experience to BankIn Minnesota’s annual BSA/AML Seminar. In addition to his current leadership role at First Bank of the Lake, he has served as Chief Risk Officer at CSI and as a compliance and risk consultant to financial institutions of all sizes.
Throughout his career, Keith has been actively involved in the banking industry, including serving as a director and chairing the Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Committees for the Missouri Bankers Association. His extensive experience across banking, consulting, compliance, and risk management brings a practical, well-rounded perspective to the seminar.
2026 BSA/AML Seminar
Join BankIn Minnesota and Keith Monson for the 2026 BSA/AML Seminar in Mankato on September 30 or Bloomington on October 1, with virtual participation also available October 1.
This year’s full-day program will cover BSA fundamentals and the responsibilities of the BSA officer, along with BSA/AML risk assessments, customer identification, customer due diligence and beneficial ownership, OFAC, suspicious activity reporting, transaction monitoring, emerging trends and technologies, and practical case studies.
