Job Title:
Loan Administrator

Provides support to Lenders by coordinating activity in support of credit approval process, compiling loan data, borrower and property information, as well as supporting bank customers by providing services in account management, operations, documentation, customer service and technical support. Performs various administrative duties involved in the processing of loans including the preparation of loan documents, basic calculations, filing, recordkeeping and proofreading. Investigates, documents and maintains credit histories for customer accounts.

• Assists with gathering data for new lending requests and forward appropriate information to the Credit Analyst when necessary • Completes ordering of services from outside sources such as title insurance, appraisals, lien searches, environmental, flood certification, certificate of good standing, outside counsel, etc. • Prepares loan document worksheet/checklist on approved loans for closing document preparation. Reviews prepared documents prior to closing for accuracy • Prepares loan documents on new loans, modifications and renewals • Responsible for filing and recording liens • Processes loan payments for loan customers • Organizes loan file on closed loans • Processes construction draws and maintain draw file while commercial loans are in the draw phase • Reviews maturing loans report and work with lender to determine payoff/renewal status. Reviews loan file and request deficient documents for loans that are expected to renew. • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Assist external clients with servicing related questions such as advances, transfers, balances, etc. • Provides administrative support such as preparing correspondence, photocopying, faxing, completing adverse action worksheet, retrieval of reports, etc. • Assists bank examiners, credit department, and other sources as needed regarding file information and/or loan account information

Education and/or Experience: Associate of Art’s Degree in finance/accounting, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of three years banking experience and/or training
