Responsibilities:
As a Mortgage Loan Originator, incumbents will work closely with local housing authorities and financial literacy programs to ensure applicants are fully educated on loan and assistance programs in their area. They will advocate in the community and build relationships with clients. They will solicit and pre-qualify loan applications, prepare credit application packages, and present requests to underwriting for approval. They will review loan documents and prepare them for closing.
Requirements:
Mortgage experience preferred, but not required. Knowledge of housing and assistance programs preferred.
