Loan Administrator

Overview:
Responsible for preparing, processing, and maintaining loan documentation while adhering to bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Create loan closing documentation for all types of Consumer, HELOC, Mortgage/Secondary Market and Commercial loans and conduct file review to ensure file is accurate, complete and compliant prior to close • Create loan modification and renewal closing documentation for all types of loans • Order services including flood certification, appraisals, title work and UCC lien searches • Load and Service Participation loans that are purchased/sold by processing advance requests, applying payments, wiring funds to participants and submit/request documentation to/from participant banks • Load loans onto core system (Insite) • Disburse loan proceeds as requested via Cashier’s check, wire transfer, payoff of existing NSBOV loan or deposit to an account at NSBOV • Assemble, prepare, and maintain loan files • Responsible for submitting and tracking all documentation necessary for lien perfection on titled collateral, UCC collateral and real estate loans • Review loan data entry/maintenance as new loans and renewals are loaded onto core system • Review and maintain loan tickler system to track collateral insurance, UCC continuations and follow up on pending items • Process daily loan payments and incoming payoffs. Review the Daily Transaction Journal the following day for and correct loan rejects and payment posting errors • Process Paid loans by preparing file for retention, preparing lien releases and satisfactions and sending correspondence to borrower(s) • Process escrow disbursements, perform escrow maintenance, prepare annual analysis statements and balance escrow DDA • Answer incoming calls regarding loan inquiries on existing or past loans and handle internal and external research requests • Process and track disputes from credit reporting agencies • Initiate/monitor/track force-placed insurance and force-placed flood insurance • Balance GLs daily • Balance loan dept DDAs on a monthly basis • Calculate rates and prepare rate schedule for in-house real estate loans on a weekly basis • Prepare appraisals for committee review • Prepare Adverse Action Notices as needed • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and bank policies and procedures

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED is required. A minimum of 2 years banking experience is preferred. • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook and standard office equipment such as a typewriter, fax, printer and copy machine. • Detail-oriented self-starter who is able to work independently with the ability to prioritize complex activities and prioritize conflicting demands and deadlines • Strong analytical and effective problem-solving skills • Regular and reliable attendance required • Perform other related duties as assigned • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and bank policies and procedures
