Job Title:
Commercial Loan Officer

Overview:
To help accomplish the Bank’s goal by ensuring continued growth and profitability. To develop and maintain relationships that will perpetuate origination of all types of commercial loans and mortgages. Represent the bank within the community through activities and organizations. To support the Bank’s core values of Respect, Integrity and Passion which will assist in leading the Bank toward the specified and desired direction of high performance.

Responsibilities:
Leadership: • Lead by example • Responsible for implementing leadership development bank-wide • Maintain a productive, professional, exciting environment focused on results • Participate in committees as assigned by the CEO Sales: • Leads the business development program by calling on existing and potential customers within community by utilizing professional sales skills • Cross-sell bank products and services as well as make referral to appropriate departments • Promotes bank by involvement in community activities and organizations Lending: • Originates and underwrites all types of commercial loans & mortgages • Loan collections Strategic Planning: • Design & support the plan for exceeding company goals Other: • Ensure that the company is compliant with all federal and state regulations • Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:
Leadership: Commitment to team environment; Development of team members & Support of Vision/Mission Education: 4-year College Degree; 6-8 years relevant work experience (3-5 years credit analysis/underwriting preferred) Skills: Communication; Detail Oriented; Time Management; Organized; Meet Deadlines; Work Independently & Handle Pressure Customer Service: Commitment to provide excellent customer service Technology: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Jack Henry products is a bonus
